Don't ignore the context: Gnome developers run, according to bkor (and I'd say he should know the numbers..), more or less completely on Linux. That's what they work with, what they know. THAT is what 'almost everyone uses Linux' means. Your random 'Hey, what about Windows?' statement is absolutely irrelevant, period.
