Drawbacks of Git:
-Hard to learn if you know a centralized SCM.
- kyrra 13y agoDrawback: if you are storing a lot of binary blobs, it will balloon the size of a git repo quickly if those objects change often. While with SVN, users only have to download the latest. To add: there is a reason most game development shops use Perforce. Sometimes you have to deal with large binary assets. Git is just the wrong answer in that case.
