Seriously, is this still a thing in the Anglo-Saxon world? Being male, I was never aware of that, although I must have filled in hundreds of English language forms. In the Netherlands, this kind of thing has been unacceptable for decades. The only reason why someone would put that in a form is as a deliberate joke.
