- vehementi 13y agoWhenever I think about how to contribute to the world, nothing I can think of holds a candle to the effect I would have if I somehow improved the effectiveness of the Gates Foundation by like 1%.

- awj 13y agoThat may be true, but there's a long tail to this too. Most of us can't help optimize the Gates Foundation's activities, but all of us doing our own little bit can still be a great force for societal improvement.
- godgod 13y agoYou need to look into Bill Gates. He's a known eugenicist. If you look at what he's doing using his foundation from a eugenicist viewpoint...would you still think he's wonderful? He's pushing technology to limit human overpopulation.
