Nice. Seems like a good way to go for most slide guitar style riffs. The real tradeoff is when you do want to purposely play all of the notes in between (microtonal scales). Of course, the way the UI is built, different sliding styles could be different view modes, so it's just a judgement call for total number of modes and what those modes should be.
