- zamalek 13y agoNow all the flappymmo author needs to do is have players controlling the pipes and have players controlling the birds.
- jonalmeida 13y agoFYI: Requires Unity Web Player. googles "Unity Web Player" linux ... cries P.S: I'm on Chrome and UWP is supposed to work on it, but it doesn't.
- fnordfnordfnord 13y agoWhat's up with Unity? The Linux desktop publishing preview is a work-in-progress. It's been that way for a while. http://unity3d.com/unity/multiplatform/desktop http://unity3d.com/unity/multiplatform/desktop
- nacs 13y agoThat page is referring to the native Linux binaries that Unity can export (which work great and has been available for a while). It's also quite stable so not sure why they're still calling it a preview. The parent post is referring to the Unity web plugin for Linux which AFAIK does not exist at all (only Windows and Mac support for the browser plugin).
- johnward 13y agoI'm on chrome on mac and it doesn't work. I'm not installing plugins to play games.
- psykovsky 13y agoIt reminds me of flash all over again.
- deevus 13y agoThat's awesome. At least your page loaded. Still can't load OP link. EDIT: It is really laggy on my MBP /w Firefox
- lvturner 13y agoMight be an idea to allow you to share your score to your timeline - a great way of doing this is via a screenshot, you'll need to write some code in Unity to actually take the screenshot, but the Unity SDK handles the upload of it natively. You can see an example of this on our game (http://apps.facebook.com/uberstrike http://apps.facebook.com/uberstrike) pushing B at any time will post a screenshot to a specially created Facebook photo album and depending on how Facebook's algorithms are feeling will usually create a feed story about it too. (We were lucky enough to be on the early beta for the Facebook/Unity SDK) EDIT: Also worth a look is the scores API on Facebook, it's incredibly straightforward to use https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/scores/ https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/scores/
- kookiekrak 13y agothe facebook version has a button to one click share a screenshot of your highscore when you score higher than 5 Originally I had it just as a button that said "Share" but the facebook's unity sdk dev's warned me that my app would get reported and removed. I implemented score's api too, but it doesn't seem to be surfacing my scores anywhere I can see
