Typical American double standard the market will take care of itself but we won't allow it to correct itself it it's not in America. Unsurprisingly this bares a remarking similarity to the problem copyright holders of movies, books and the like are complaining about when they make it more expensive or inaccessible in certain countries only in their case it just gets pirated and they get none of the money.
