Depends on where you are and how old you are. In your 20s in Silicon Valley, 3 years is a bit long. But in your 30s somewhere else it's fine.
- dagw 13y agoThe goal shouldn't be to change jobs, as in the company you work for, but to change jobs, as in what you are working on. There is nothing wrong with being 10 years at the same company as long you're constantly getting a chance to do different things, moving around and generally feel like you're developing and learning.
