Why do you need to segregate based on gender, anyway? Boys can crush on boys, and girls can crush on girls. If they discover that they are a mutual crush, why deny them the fun?
If you really want to filter views, let the user make a explicit decision to filer view based on gender, using a drop-down menu or something.
- MarkIceberg 13y agoThats to load the initial view. You can toggle between genders very conviniently. Wouldnt be a good idea to load the entire friendslist in one go.
- jnbiche 13y agoAh ok, fair enough. I figured you were using it to make only girls available to boys, and vice versa. Still, if that permission is giving you problems because of people's reactions, just showing the entire friend list (with paging, of course) may not be a bad idea.

- MarkIceberg 13y agoWe dont limit you to same sex crushes. There is a toggle button to switch between genders
