- AndrewDucker 13y agoIf you run it on your existing phone then it extracts the Google Play apps from it and re-uploads them afterwards. - mpettitt 13y agoThat's, hmm, interesting from a competitive and privacy advocate perspective. It means that whilst Prism Break and similar websites are advocating it, the key parts which report back to Google are still in place, since they aren't the bits being replaced.
- tc104 13y agoNo they're not. You have to manually install the closed source Google frameworks and apps -- so if they're "in place", it's only because you put them there yourself.
