The basic idea I'm getting is that advice is meaningful and actionable when it comes from a place of domain expertise and prior experience. "You should allow people to log in using Twitter" doesn't mean as much from someone that doesn't have experience or knowledge of running a system that uses Twitter to log in. It might be a valuable idea, but it is an idea rather than advice.
