One thing I'll say about this essay, which was great btw, is that its comforting to hear that other programmers feel the same way in terms of actually not starting work if they have a meeting coming up, and how having their day sliced up kills productivity. I've always felt this way but also kind of suffered in silence - so thanks pg for putting this out there
