... and if we ever create an artificial beeing that is self-aware we would have to solve many other issues before thinking of proper punishment. Like: how do we justify that we expect this self aware, intelligent beeing to clean our rooms or take out our trash? Wouldn't that be a new era of slavery?

- redorb 17y agoI think implying a hard wired "want" means its not true consciousness - or at least not any better than in the future making humans who want to be garbage men (no disrespect intended)
