I've heard countless times that Chrome becomes flaky once you get to about 50 or 60 tabs. In contrast, I know several Firefox users who regularly have open several hundred tabs, and one guy who sometimes exceeds a thousand. (Yes, a thousand.) (And if you're about to respond with "why would anybody need that many tabs?", please don't. It's a tired topic; just accept that there are many different and valid ways to use a web browser, and yours is just one of them.)
