Why should it. The energy is supplied by gravity.
- cLeEOGPw 13y agoAs magnet falls, it is slowed down, this drag is created because magnetic forces are resisting gravity. So after some time, magnet loses that force, I just wonder how long does it take. It can't fall slowly like that forever.
