- c0brac0bra 13y agoYou can tab cast Amazon Instant Video from Chrome. I've been successfully using it for months.
- whichdan 13y agoThe downside, though, is that the video is still playing on the laptop simultaneously.
- jggonz 13y agoYes, but you can dim down the LCD and the audio is piped to the chromecast. It's a 'hack', but it does work.
- baggachipz 13y agoAnd devouring your battery as it does so. Native Amazon Video support is a must-have for me to use it full-time.
- philsnow 13y agotab casting is (still) not supported in linux
- joshbaptiste 13y agoI tab cast in Linux fine.. needed the latest build of Chrome at the time currently running 27.0.1453.12 dev.
- fpgeek 13y agoIndeed. After the Ethernet port, Amazon Instant Video and Slingplayer are the two use cases that make Google TV better than Chromecast for me (and there's always CheapCast, I suppose).
