I'm in a weird position (although I assume I'm not the only one) that's using both services and paying Github for their first level. There's something to be said about having all my projects in one place, which is why everything is on GH and I'm starting to duplicate private repos to BB. Competition is fierce in the space right now, but I'd feel better if BB was charging some tiny amount for a year of unlimited private repos (like $5 or $10). I think I'd feel much more comfortable they weren't going to retire it.
