Very nice. I wish, I had a better question: What is the software used to produce the "flow charts"?

- jmgrosen 13y agoThat's IDA, the interactive disassembler. The free version's not too bad, but if you're doing any work with 64bit, you'll need the pro version, which is a fairly hefty sum (at least for a student like me).
- adestefan 13y agoThe free version is also x86 only. I'd recommend using Hopper as a hobbiest.
- voltagex_ 13y agoAgreed, I have high hopes for Hopper.
- jevinskie 13y agoAnd Ilfak (the creator) refuses to provide special student pricing (even when offered proof of identity). I was willing to spend many hundreds of dollars for a student license but instead settled begrudgingly with objdump. Perhaps it is because Ilfak is so paranoid about leaks/piracy.
- hrrsn 13y agoBinwalk for the graphs, IDA Pro for the flow charts.
- simcop2387 13y agoIDA Pro most likely[1]. Pricy but if you're doing professional embedded stuff I've heard it's worth the money. [1] https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/ https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/
- himal 13y agoAlso there is a list of tools located at http://www.devttys0.com/tools/ http://www.devttys0.com/tools/
