Getting YC Partner Buy-In sounds like pledging a fraternity.
- aelaguiz 13y agoIt isn't, at all. It's not some popularity contest. The best companies do in fact tend to have YC partners invested in them. It's just because they are..the best companies. The only reason it's bad is because there are lots of great startups in the batch that can be hurt by it, which is obviously not what the partners intend.
