the biggest logical fallacy is not realizing that homo sapiens is evolved to NOT use logic in certain areas: tribal allegiances, bonding and politics. You can see this play out in the GOP/conservative vs Dem/liberal farces in various forums and on TV every day. Same thing goes for what passes for the term 'political correctness.' Also, religion--logic does not come into play there. Also, death and the afterlife--logic is precluded there as well. Homo sapiens is evolved to use logic in certain limited areas only.
