With other providers you either:
a) Pay at the end of the month (good if you are a big company like Amazon)
b) Don't let users run machines without credit in their account (DigitalOcean).
- m_mueller 13y agoCould you explain to me what's the difference between Linode and DigitalOcean in that regard?
- thejosh 13y agoThe way I use DigitalOcean is to prepay a certain amount (say $100), then use that to pay for my servers when I need them. If I did similar on Linode it would take the entirety of the month or prorated.
