The Glyph looks interesting, but it only shows 1280x720 per eye. I don't really understand how the 'virtual retinal display' will affect the viewing experience, but there are only 2 million pixels total, split between two eyes. The consumer rift will be at least 1080p split between eyes, which is 960x1080 per eye — slightly more pixels per eye than the Glyph.
