While agreeing this is a useful feature, it can be offered by marketplaces just as good, if not better. For example, Silk Road (where everyone was necessarily anonymous) had an escrow service which worked just fine.
- makomk 13y agoAt least from the scuttlebutt I heard, almost all sellers on Silk Road required new buyers to release the money from escrow before they'd ship anything, and some of them were taking advantage of this to selectively rip off new buyers.
