  Other than hand-delivered letters and face-to-face conversation in a secluded space, but then again, how can you trust the person you're communicating with to keep those communiques private? Argh...paranoia...all consuming!

    that is a little different but point taken. if facebook wanted to be nefarious with these newly granted permissions, they have an extremely large pool of data to mine.
