This sucks because even if you don't have the application, you might be texting someone who does... facebook can collect that data too and build profiles of people who don't even have the app or even use facebook.
- exodust 13y agoGood point. Wow, there really is no hope for private communication.
- giantrobothead 13y agoOther than hand-delivered letters and face-to-face conversation in a secluded space, but then again, how can you trust the person you're communicating with to keep those communiques private? Argh...paranoia...all consuming!
- cstrat 13y agothat is a little different but point taken. if facebook wanted to be nefarious with these newly granted permissions, they have an extremely large pool of data to mine.
