Opinions on dating are opinions on gender, and they're not unusual, they're ridiculous. I'm male. I consider myself a feminist. It's just as possible to offend me with ignorant statements as it is to offend anyone else, female or otherwise.

Opinions on dating are opinions on gender Right, and frankly they're not professional. An in that sense, why are you hung-up on them? Its a bit of a stretch to assume everything that is <not> professional is "un" professional.
