- vezzy-fnord 13y agoNot entirely, although a Common Lisp function wrapper to NASM syntax does seem to play a big role.
- cwzwarich 13y agoDoes any Lisp code actually run in the OS itself, or is it just involved in building the OS image?
- DigitalJack 13y agoI don't understand, everything is assembly/machine code when it executes.
- cwzwarich 13y agoTo be more clear: is there any compiled Lisp code, or is it just manually written assembly?
- tokenrove 13y agoThat's a common idea in low-level Lisp programming. Note that you still get macros, so it's a lot nicer than writing straight-up assembly language.
