How well are these events being reported in the media (US), in your view?
With all the usual truthfulness, of course.

Very poorly. There's virtually nothing on the majors' home pages (e.g., only WSJ has it above the fold now), and blogs latch on to fiery pictures only. Much better coverage @ Reuters and BBC.
