Your graph is better; the other one only provides enough info to deduce "omg! Circles!" More devastating would be to know how many are actually dying of measles/pertussis. I can't find any legitimate, non-anti-vax sources talking about that, except the WHO, who says that measles deaths declined 71% worldwide between 2000 and 2011, (anti-devestating! Hooray!) and also that 95% of measles deaths occur in low-income countries. Hmm.
