I view Bitcoin as being more like "gold" and Dogecoin as more like "change in your pocket". As it is even with the recent runup in price, the value is not even 1 penny USD per Doge. Gold is more valuable, but in terms of actually changing hands (I am not talking about trading paper gold) the daily volume is low. Meanwhile lots of people use coins every day.
