Airware (YC W'13) is hiring SDK Want to empower developers to create apps for commercial drones? Airware is creating the next generation platform for commercial drones, providing a powerful, flexible, and consistent Software Development Kit (SDK). The SDK Software Engineer will design, code, debug, and document a user friendly, real-time C++ SDK. As a senior software engineer, this role will also serve as a source of best practice knowledge for software design, coding, and testing for a highly-dynamic, continuous-delivery software creation environment. Sample projects - Build simple interfaces between user applications and underlying infrastructure while maintaining the safety of critical software components. - Create a seamless interface to ground station plugins and applications in the air. - Collaborate with embedded engineers to create add-on hardware/software modules that extend the functionality of the autopilot system. - Work with early developers of commercial drone applications on how to best leverage our SDK and the platform.
