> Perhaps many people end up homeless after making poor choices in life that lead to their predicament I don't really have any data at hand, but a lot of people become homeless due to health issues, family conflicts, socio-economic problems (high unemployment rates, factory closings, lack of affordable housing), or even by being born poor or homeless... I believe some of those reasons are outside of the control of a single person.
