Hack on distributed systems and Linux with CoreOS
We're a really small team hacking on a combination of systems programming and distributed systems. Everything we produce is open source, and all new code development is done in Go.
You can see all of our projects here:
https://github.com/coreos/ https://github.com/coreos/
We really need help from talented programmers that are interested in writing backend, low level, software in Go.
Some examples:
https://github.com/coreos/coreinit https://github.com/coreos/coreinit - A system that ties together systemd (via dbus) and etcd.
https://github.com/coreos/go-namespaces https://github.com/coreos/go-namespaces - Some fun experiments in using linux network namespaces natively from go.
https://github.com/coreos/etcd https://github.com/coreos/etcd - Our distributed key value store.
We don't pay that well, but we have great benefits. We are handing out large chunks of equity to our employees, and a tiny bit to investors (Sequoia and A16Z).
We are based in the Mission in SF, and would like to find teammates that can join us locally.
