That's absolutely false. He's veto happy because raising taxes during a recession is the dumbest possible thing a government attemping to restart the economy could do. The government has to cut spending along with the rest of us. In response to your issue, I see no reason why he would be opposed to legalizing weed, especially when it provides extra tax money which could be used to close the budget deficit. He's a lame duck - it's not like he's afraid of getting flak from righteous social conservatives who are opposed at this point in time.
