Out of curiosity, if the PC is chugging along just fine on a 13 year old OS, what non-antimalware update were you expecting to come along in the next 18 months that wouldn't force your hand in to moving to either Mac or Linux?

- jlgaddis 13y agoDisable/uninstall Adobe * and Java. Don't configure a default gateway on it and force all traffic through a proxy (on the local subnet). You're probably good.
