  Suggestion: buy a friend one of those 'record your song in a day' experiences. Get them into a commercial recording studio, and sit with the person who does the final mastering... ...unless of course they only buy direct to disc vinyl analogue recordings, or 96KHz sampled 24bit digital ones! PS: One of my retirement ideas is to knock up monoblock 'boozehound' amplifier based on 6j5/6v6 and locally wound 'special' output transformers...
