I think the point he is making is that if someone were to check the only information available, "millions of colors" on apple's website, is false.
EDIT: and as a side quest, he is trying to get them to admit that their pro product doesn't have pro specs.

- GHFigs 17y agoDefine pro.
- warfangle 17y agoI dunno, "pro" for a graphic artist probably includes "actually displaying millions of colors instead of dithering so I can actually tell what color it is."
- JimmyL 17y agoSure, but show me where Apple defines "Pro" as "Pro for a graphic artist"?
- marchdown 17y agosure, here you go: http://www.apple.com/pro/ http://www.apple.com/pro/
- jcl 17y agoNice. I love the particularly relevant blurb at the bottom: "Whether you’re a designer, photographer, or any kind of creative pro who deals with visual material, you face the daunting task of getting your colors just right. [...] Learn how you can make the most of your Mac to maximize the effectiveness of your colors."
- GHFigs 17y agoExactly: it's something people make up on the spot to justify whatever complaint they have with a "pro" product.
