I think Zed underestimates the value of his contribution of Mongrel. It's a great piece of code. I certainly wouldn't have heard of him if it wasn't for that. I

I think Zed underestimates the value of his contribution of Mongrel. It's a great piece of code. I certainly wouldn't have heard of him if it wasn't for that. I doubt his blog posts would be making it to number 1 on hacker news without it.

Zed is good at creating silly controversy and buzz. Nobody I know has used mongrel for several years... though it was influential at the time.

    Thin and Passenger -- to be fair Thin is essentially mongrel + rack... picked up after Zed decided to stop maintaining mongrel.
