If you flash the 39 inch with the firmware from the 50 inch it can do 120Hz at all resolutions 1920x1080 and below. I even give it 240Hz @ 720p even though it drops half the frames to reduce the input lag from around 9ms to 4.5ms.
- lstamour 13y agoSounds too good to be true. 30 fps mouse cursors were starting to drive me nuts. I'll have to try this soon. I wonder if/when Seiki comes up with an HDMI 2 version of the TV we can reuse the firmware here...? Edit: I see that Seiki announced new 4K TVs with HDMI 2 at CES, but only 50"+, no 39". I can only hope the new firmware has clues for getting HDMI 2 running on my 39" eventually.
