I'd love three of those Dell monitors. But did you happen to see the update to that Forbes article [1] that suggests that the P2815Q will also be limited 30 Hz refresh? I'm enduring 30 Hz now obviously, so I know it can be done, but I'd like to see Dell up the ante a bit and make 60 Hz 4K happen.

- qwerta 13y ago30Hz is not really a problem for reading code. And it also makes things simpler for graphic cards.
- muro 13y agoIt's a TN screen :(
- qwerta 13y agoThat would be a deal breaker, but lenovo and asus make nearly identical IPS displays.
- muro 13y agoAFAIK all 28'' 4k screens are TN, that's why they are so cheap. If you want IPS, it's $1300 for 24 (dell), or $3500 (dell, asus).
- DiabloD3 13y agoAnd the 32" inch $3500 ones are IPS on IGZO instead of traditional amorphous silicon.
- muro 13y agoYes, sorry - I had a typo in previous comment, I meant $3500 for the 32'' from Dell and Asus.
- qwerta 13y agoLenovo ThinkVision Pro2840m looks like IPS, there are even videos which shows good angles. Personally I only care about viewing angles, so cheaper technology such as e-IPS would be just fine.
