A massive discussion between Backbone.js developer and the developer of Riot.js kicked off. It's an interesting read that's for sure.

- nkuttler 13y agoOh, so they wrote their own framework but the site doesn't use a framework.. now I get it.
- danneu 13y agoThe blogpost explains why they didn't use an off-the-shelf framework. (Spoiler: "We wanted control.") That they can generalize their homebrew abstractions into a new framework only shows that they didn't use an off-the-shelf framework.
