How do the linode and digital ocean API's compare?
- schneidmaster 13y agoLinode lets you do pretty much the same set of stuff as Digital Ocean (https://www.linode.com/api/ https://www.linode.com/api/). IMO, Digital Ocean's (https://developers.digitalocean.com/ https://developers.digitalocean.com/) is much nicer to work with. It doesn't have weird magic number error codes, has much cleaner documentation, and has nicer response arrays. Which one is better is kind of subjective, though.
- elithrar 13y agoThe biggest issue with Linode appears to be the way disks are tied to instances[1]: you can't easily snapshot like you can on DO.
