I was traveling in Tokyo on 3/11 and still have to fend off questions about my health when I tell people about it. I did cut my trip short, flew out on 3/15. I wasn't worried about the radiation, I just didn't feel comfortable taking up resources in a country that had just suffered so much damage. In fact, I recently got back from a 3 week trip around Japan to finish my original trip.
