Additionally, when a beginner sees this page, he sees two versions - of which one is 3 and one is 2 - I think most of people will choose the "newer" ( newer = better? ) version because they don't really know about the differences between the two. The second part of the problem is the fragmentation of tutorials on other websites - which can't be fixed by changing the download page.
