I use pyodbc[1] to connect to SQL Server from my Python 3 code and it works just fine. Does it not work well with MySQL? I couldn't find any indication of that

I use pyodbc[1] to connect to SQL Server from my Python 3 code and it works just fine. Does it not work well with MySQL? I couldn't find any indication of that in an admittedly cursory search.
