Just a thought, but how will the NSA change for the better if we discourage "good" people from joining the organization. Doesn't that just reinforce it to become even more of what we dislike about it? Perhaps positive change for the NSA will come from within at some point? Maybe one of your friends feels the same way about the NSA as you do and intends to do something about it.
