Time spent sitting at the computer willing yourself to work when you're not in the mood is as -- if not more so -- personally draining as actually getting stuff done. Don't waste your valuable attention on half-assed work. (Incidentally, I'm on HN right now b/c I'm ignoring my own advice. We have a new customer starting on the 15th, and I'm pushing out our current development release by then if it kills me.)
