What Snowden did was steal information, run to the enemies of this country and reveal it under the guise of being a whistle-blower. If we don't have a set of rules that we all consistently follow, there is no expectation of honesty or justice... and all command structures fall apart. When that happens, you have an absence of social order into which void will fall the real tyrants. Snowden is no hero. He should be returned to the United States to face trial and if convicted, the traitor's penalty.
