When you are entering it in the station, you have a lot of open space until the hatch closes. So what about instead of having windows, make them 3D holographic displays that look like you are peering out an airplane window? There is still the mental knowledge that your are in a tube (like a subway tube) but it might be enough to fool your subconscious.
