I'm sorry, what's "Twitter"?

  In the stone age a guy wrote a book "Real men don't eat quiche". I think about that book whenever I Tweet. P.S. the only benefit I got from Twitter is it's incorporation throuh a financial, stock site.

  Ok, the downvotes are deserved, but more to the point, I don't use twitter and after all these years I have not understood what it's for. What do people use it for?
